Blogging Tips

Here are a few websites you can utilize that have a lot of free graphics, music, chat box, photo sites, and other great hosting web pages and tips for you to utilize and maximize the most out of your blog. Some do charge or ask donations but visit them anyhow because even those sites still offer amazing free stuff like scripture tags, comments forms, etc. and even great tips. They're awesome. Rich Gift (listed below and also their image badge on the left bottom sidebar) did my blog design, which she did an awesome work. And I got the free 'Contact' (Kontact) form from the 'got chance' link also listed below which was a must for me personally as I don't like my personal email address listed out there publicly for anyone. 'Got Chance' also list the 5 thing that every blog should have, which is a good read as well. Currently my front page blog, I'll admit is a little too busy on the sidebars but I'll be working on this hopefully soon. I'll be adding more to this site map about other places I find and also giving links of ministry sites as well as time goes on. If you are confused with anything on any of these sites listed don't feel alone; a lot of time things just take practice, trial and error as it did with me too, especially my scrolling click able blog button slide show on my right side bar....it wasn't working right for me until I 'played' with it for about 2 hours. Let me know if you need help on anything and if memory serves me well I'll try to do my best in guiding you along. Some of these sites below you can simply click on, otherwise just copy and paste their site into your browser to check them out. www.rockyou.com www.slide.com www.glitterlive.com www.allmyspacegraphics.com www.justcomments.com www.projectplaylist.com www.photobucket.com www.blingcheese.com http://www.easycustomblogs.blogspot.com/ http://hookedoncountry.blogspot.com/ http://www.richgift.blogspot.com/ http://www.shoutmix.com/main/ http://www.mixpod.com/ http://gotchance.com/ Customizing your own personal signature Sarah

Would you like someone to pray for you???

If you would like me to pray for me please simple either leave a comment here or if you'd prefer it to be more private than simply contact me through my Contact Tab at the top of my site. I've probably been where you are more than may realize so don't be afraid to share what's troubling you. Trust that your prayers will be safe with me and I WILL pray for you daily! God's Not Finished With You yet either and the plans he has for you are more wonderful than you can imagine. I know that it sounds simple to say everything will be okay but when you feel however it is you feel it's hard to imagine getting through, but you can just like I have. If you need someone to chat with I will do my best to be here for you, but if I can't than I'll find someone I trust who can. Remember God's love for you is more than anything you can imagine and it is not His will that you carry your burdens alone; in fact you aren't even meant to carry them, that's why God's Word states to 'come to Me and I will give you rest'. He's waiting for you! (See verse below) Jeremiah 29:11 (New International Version) 11 For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Matthew 11:28 Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.

iHeartFaces - Sharing Photos of Silly Faces

I like to join in on the themed I Faces when time permits and this weeks theme being "Funny, Silly Faces" I couldn't resist going through some of the photo's I keep stored to later look back on.

I am a beginner photographer. This is mine and my husbands son at age 2 and it was the perfect off-the-wall random photo I took of him with his shirt and with him having his hands squeezing his cheeks at just the right time with the his shirt reading "I still live with my parents!" as if to think 'I can't believe I still DO!' (Little stinker! LOL) My husband and I personally love it though as his facial expression goes perfect with his shirt!

If you haven't checked out our joined iHeartFaces it's a ton of fun, even if you never win any prizes, it's a cool site! If your passion is photography like mine is than I invite you to check their blog/site out by clicking on the button above or one of the iHeatFaces links I've posted. I've never won any photo's but to me I still participate because it's so fun to do and I learn so much through their blog; they have TONS of helpful tips and supporting sites to visit to learn 'tricks of the trade'. You also you can check out every other members photo's as well to learn from them and make some good friends! Tons of FUN!!!! Hope to see you there soon!

COMING CLEAN WITH CONFESSIONS!

COMING CLEAN WITH CONFESSIONS!

Please play by the rules!

CONFESSION GUIDELINES:

Anyone is free to leave any confession of secret they desire to with the freedom to do so without criticism from other readers. If you decide to make a confession about something but prefer nobody reply to your confession than simple type in your confession 'Comment or Replies not preferred. Thank You!'

Please if you do reply to a persons confession do not criticize or cause insult to injury to the person who has shared something on their hearts. Encouraging words and positive replies are always welcome and helpful. Please always use common sense and be sensitive when making such comments! This is a Christian family friendly blog and if comments are made that are hurtful, mean, or judgemental than I will delete those immediately. If anyone notices such comments please notify me right away through my 'Contact Us' at the top of the site and I will look into your message. For this site page I removed the 'Share This Bookmark' widget with 'Facebook', 'Twitter', 'WordPress', etc. because this type of confession page should not be handled in such a manner as sharing such things. This is up to the person who carries the burdens in their hearts on whether or not and with who they want or not to share things with so please honor and respect this.

UPDATE: The comment box is there so that you anyone can remain anonymous without worrying about someone finding out your blog site or email and whatnot. You can actually type anything that you wish to and simply choose the anonymous option if you so desire or if you don't care and do desire that someone pray for you by name or even reach out to you than by all means feel free to choose your identity. However if you don't desire to but still would like someone to pray for you than please add a simple note such as 'Please pray for me' and I will. God already knows who you are even if on a site you show anonymous. Share all you want of confession or heart burdens and nobody will ever know who you are not even myself (if you choose the anonymous option that is).

We are all adults so thank you all for acting as such.

Sarah

If you prefer to just get something off your chest you can leave a comment through my blog where it reads __Love Thoughts then reads 'Post a Comment', just click either one of those. YOU CAN remain anonymous which is great for readers so feel free to get whatever vent out because we all know we have those vent fests from time to time and it's good to release it. So please feel free; there is no judgement here.

My First Photo Shoot

My very first photo shoot doing business as 'Christian Creations Photography'.  I can't decided which photo image I like the best but I think I love the close up of him with the blue bow around his body the most like he's a little gift.  Most of these photo's were taken when he was about 6 weeks old but the very last one of him yawning was taken the very next day after he was born, which is why he appears so red still.  He had a little jaundice.  Isn't he just so precious?  Tell me what your thoughts are honestly.  I accept constructive criticism so that it will only help me be a better Photographer.  I am still a student so my work is 'perfect' just yet, but 'ding-dong' my door bell just rang and Amazon delivered my Nikon flash to go over my accessory shoe.  I can't wait to take photo's of my own kids to see what a big difference an external flash makes VS. the internal little one that came with the camera, even though it itself is still a good flash.

This last photo I tried my best to reduce some of the redness that he has all over his body but I couldn't.  I'm guessing that this is because this is just naturally how he looked since this photo was taken the day after he was born.
