BB: Blog Buttons I've made for friends:

BLOG "GRAB" BUTTONS I'VE MADE: (My quiet little ministry I enjoy doing to bless others.)

The blog buttons I made below I did free for my friends.  If some of you have researched blog buttons than you may have noticed that most, if not all, will charge a small fee between $7-$15 per button, which I think is a big disappointment.  Creating a blog button is so very simple to do that I can't even imagine charging those fees, unless (and this is my own personal exception) they are a site that is fully a blog devoted to blog designing and earning some extra money for their household or whatnot.  But to me if somebody knows how easy it is to do and just charges people just to get $10 bucks for something that took less than 5 min. to do, this disappoints me.  Again, this is just my own personal thoughts about the very simple things with blogging, but for those who create entire blog designs like mine; A friend of mine did my design; unfortunetly I am simply clueless about all the design portions of websites.  I just know the bare minimum and maybe a few extra advanced items, but not nearly enough to to be a 'designer'....lol!   ;(

If you would like for me to create a blog button for your site I will try my best to meet your specifications but if I can't I will refer you to someone I trust and know that can. However I can not say whether or not anyone else does these for free, as there is nobody else I know of that does. If you would like to nominate a fellow blogger for a free blog button than please contact me through my 'contact us' tab at the top of this site and tell me why you feel they would be blessed with a blog button.

Here are a few of the blog buttons I've created for some friends of mine for free. I've made more than this but I can't find the codes for the other one's I've created. I must have deleted the code, but I emailed the blog authors asking them if they still had the code for it so I can add it to this page. If you click on any of these blog buttons it will take you to that blog. All of these blog buttons I created by either using the header of their blog site to match their button or I picked out a similar image online to use that would match their site. If you have your own photo or image it's very easy for me to 'dress it up' in various ways like adding decorations such as glitter stars (see my kids blog botton below), or frames, 'stickers' of hearts, kisses, just about anything really. If you have your own image/photo that you want me to use as your blog/site button simply contact me through my 'Contact Us' tab at the top and type 'Blog Button Request' in the subject line.
Please do not send any photo protected images that you found online; as those are protected pictures and usually have their business name watermark over the image, which means they are protected under copyright laws; meaning DO NOT COPY (unless you pay for that image first or seek their full permission to use it for free!)  Under law I can not make any buttons with images that are copyright protected. If you do send me an image that is copyright protected that does not have the 'watermark' through it, it will be your entire responsibility and obligation for that image to be used at your own risk, since I will not be aware of it's protection, unless it has a visible watermark. Realize that if you are caught using or altering, any image that is protected you will be hit with various fine amounts and I will not be able to bail you out, so do not ask me to. I am an honest person and will cooperate and act accordingly by stating that I was not aware and my customer did not inform me that the image was copyright protected. Any other images you find online that are not protected I am happy to work with. A simple rule of thumb to follow:  If you are unsure of whether an image is under copyright laws, the best advise is simple do not use it, or you can try to contact the site where you found the photo and ask permission in using it. If you are able to then simply send it as an attachment to your email showing they gave you permission and also do yourself a favor and print and keep their email or other written permission on file so you have proof of this.  And please don't forget to also let me know what your blogs URL address is. Include anything that you would like me to do with the photo/image such as add a frame around it or anything else. *If there is any type of specific font you prefer on your button or any specific wording/phrase/quote/or other words or names than please include this in your email as well. *If you would like me to add your actual blog URL address at the bottom of your button (see some below) I can add this too. I personally like this idea, but it's up to you. I have this on my own blog button (not shown below) Some do like this added, some don't really care either way. Just let me know your preferences. God Bless, Sarah Cecilia Lopez

As you can see some buttons I've added the 'grab' code beneath it for readers to add this to their own blog/site, which most website and blog authors prefer. As you can see though that not all of them have the code, just some.

Billy's blog button above at "What I Learned Today" he later changed his blog site header so I also changed his blog button to match his new header and I also added his site address listed on the button as well.

When I created this blog button I offered Alleluiabelle two options. She chose the blog button beneath this one here:

She liked the one below more as the background color matched her blog colors better. I think it matches better as well. I also added the little glittery sun by the water. Do you see it? Yeah, I know, it's a little hard to tell, but it's there! :D

The blog button below I made for my kids blog:
I don't allow comments on my kids blog but I made this button primarily for my
family and friends to visit them from my own family blog if they wanted to see the journal
I keep of them. Though I must admit that I've been a very bad mother for not
keeping up with their blog journal. I feel horrible about this. I've set it as a priority for this weekend for me to update it with new photo's and information!
I simply used a photo of my kids as the main image than added a frame around it along with adding the stars to make it extra cute. If you click this button it will take you to my kids blog, which I use to journal about their life.

And here is my latest button code (below) that I made for a blog buddy.  She already had her header created so I just moved some things around very simply (so it would fit all into the tiny square) and created the code.  Like I said give it a try on any of these button by clicking on them and noticing that it takes you directly to their site.  If  for some reason you should happen to click on one and it doesn't take you to their site, would you be so kind as to let me know.  It could just be that they stopped 'blogging' or something else, but I would like to make sure it's not something I messed up on because if it were than I'd definitely want to fix it.

This here (below that I was just talking about in the previous paragraph)  is Julie's awesome Christian blog site that I just changed a few tid bits here and there but if you visit her site you'll see the button basically matches her header.  To visit her actual blog you'll also have to enter the site this button takes you to and then at the top of her menu bar at this site, there is a link that reads 'blog' so you can explore around both of her sites!

Tonight I created another blog code for a new friend I met from another Christian blogger.  Here is the grab button I created for her to add  to her site.  She, Yvonne, picked out the image and I did the rest.  Go ahead and click on her button below and check out her site; it's a great ministry blog and lovely to read!  My friend that introduced me to her had nothing to say about her except very wonderful things!! Now that's an awesome woman of God for ya!! :)

NOTE: If you don't desire a 'grab' button but just a clickable button that will take a reader from one area to another, either within your same site or directed to another site or blog, don't fret, I can do this as well. (Example: The blog button images you see on my sidebars here by creating an image like the one 'Why does God allow bad things to happpen?' and when clicked on it takes the reader to that posting on this blog, not away from it. It's basically like an the archive but with an image for your sidebar as it highlights the things that are important to you that you'd like your readers to take notice of. Go ahead and play around with some of them on my site to see what I mean....in fact click on any of these buttons here if you'd like to check any of their sites out as well. And as alway; if you have any questions or comments please feel free to contact me through my 'Contact Us' tab at the top of our site.
Thank you for visiting us and have a blessed week!
Sarah
Thank you and may you have many, many blessings from God during the rest of this week!

  2. I'm one of the bloggers who had a beautiful blog button created by this sweet gal, Sarah. What a blessing she is. This is the epitome of grace -- receiving something for which you did not ask for nor deserve.

Thank you Sarah. You're a sweetheart.
