This first picture is such a simple photo, but my favorite. It shows the classic art of kids playing in the dirt, having a blast. I liked that I was able to capture the dirt falling through 'Jewels' hands.
I love this image too. I tried to use a lens technique I recently learned about bringing the focus to my son (on the baby swing) with my daughter blurred a little in the backdrop. I still have a lot to learn.
This one was adorable capturing Jewel laughing.
'Happy' was playing 'Hide 'N Seek', though I'm not sure with who; Jewel was on the swingset....
This image I laid on the ground to snap. All I was thinking was 'Please don't slam into my camera, please don't slam into my camera....'
'Happy' was aiming at throwing a rock towards some birds. (Of course I wouldn't actually allow him to hit or hurt one.)
"Did I throw far enough???"

Great pictures...you are doing well with your new camera...isn't it fabulous?

I use photoshop elements 7 and I really do not like it yet. Very difficult. Gotta either take a class or have lots of time to play. I use Picnik.com to do quick fixes. it is free and the easiest editing ever.
ReplyDeleteSarah,
ReplyDeleteYou are definitely getting the hang of that camera! Glad to see you enjoying it so much!
I love the photo of them on the bug together!
Hugs and love,
Jill
I love your pictures and going to the park! Just stopping by from mom bloggers!!
ReplyDeleteThe pics are beautiful...you have a talent for really capturing the joy of their childhoods!!
ReplyDeleteMy kids see the camera and they usually run the opposite away from me (unless they're the ones taking pics!)
I think your photos are great. If only I would remember to take a camera with us when we go out.
