It&#39;s the most awesome thing in the world to stay home and raise my children, but it also the most overwhelming thing in the world. The responsibility. The never-ending children antics. The lack of adult time and conversation. And the paying job done in spare time--and I know you understand that as well.<br /><br />Sometimes, it just means you need to plan a little &quot;you&quot; time for yourself. My MIL keeps my kids for a few hours each Friday while I go on a date with my husband. It&#39;s not much, but it&#39;s helped me. I am suffering through SEVERE depression at this time. I know how you feel. Depression is a horrible disease and I would not wish it on my worst enemy. I do not have kids, and I live by myself, and there are days where I am terrified to go home because I know the crying and emptyness will return.
